This is real money

A staked game is not points. The amount you sit down with leaves your balance before the first roll, and if you lose the game it is gone. Backgammon rewards skill, but every single game contains real luck, and a better player can lose several in a row.

You must be 18 or older to play for a stake.

Decide the number before you sit down

Choose, before you open the stake list, the amount you are prepared to lose today. Treat it the way you would treat the price of a cinema ticket: it buys the evening, and it is not coming back.

When that amount is gone, stop for the day. The single most expensive habit in any game played for money is raising the stake to win back what was lost. The cards do not know you are behind, and neither do the dice.

Signs it has stopped being a game

You are playing for longer than you meant to, and you notice afterwards rather than at the time. You are raising your stake specifically to recover a loss. You are playing with money set aside for something else. You are hiding how much you play, or how much you have lost, from people close to you. You feel you have to keep playing rather than that you want to. You are borrowing to play.

Any one of these is worth taking seriously. Several together mean it is time to stop and talk to somebody.

What this service always offers for free

Taking a break, or stopping for good

You can ask us to pause your account for a period, or to close it permanently, by writing to support@bgammon.xyz or messaging https://t.me/coingrami. Tell us which you want and how long. We will do it, we will not ask you to justify it, and we will not send you offers to come back.

Withdraw your balance before you ask, or tell us where to send it. A pause blocks staked play; a closure ends the account.

Getting help

If gambling has become a problem, the most useful step is usually to talk to somebody outside it — a doctor, or a support service for gambling problems in your own country. Many are free and confidential, and they exist because this is common and treatable.
